**Please note that this is the last semester the GEO will be accepting applications for the assisted enroll program at Cardiff University.  Spring 2017 is the last semester students will be able to study abroad on this program option. We encourage all students planning to study abroad on this program during the Academic Year 2017-2018 to consider studying abroad in Spring 2017 if they have the flexibility in their academic plans. Please note that the exchange option for Cardiff University will remain open.

Cardiff University is one of the most popular universities in the United Kingdom with over 30,000 students, including approximately 4,000 international students from over 100 countries. Cardiff was ranked 5th in research amongst all UK universities in 2014. W&M students take courses from the full undergraduate curriculm, including business courses.

The city of Cardiff is the capital of Wales and is located 145 miles west of London. Wales boasts over 750 miles of coastline and more than 600 castles, and is home to three of the UK’s National Parks: Snowdonia, Pembrokeshire Coast and Brecon Beacons. Cardiff's climate is characterised by mild weather. Cardiff is only a two-hour train journey to London and also has an international airport with more than 30 flights a day to many cities within Europe. While at Cardiff University, W&M students will live on campus in single rooms with shared kitchens and bathrooms.

Assisted enrollment option alows W&M students to pay tuition to Cardiff University. Out-of-state students often find assisted enrollment the best option. All W&M students pay housing, meals and fees on site in Cardiff.

Dates / Deadlines:
Term Year App Deadline Decision Date Start Date End Date
Spring 2017 10/03/2016 10/15/2016 TBA TBA
NOTE: Applications are first reviewed by the Reves Center, and students nominated for the exchange program are notified. Application materials are then sent to the school abroad (and the school abroad often requests additional materials at this time). When the school abroad completes their application review, students are then notified of the final acceptance decision. This timeline varies greatly from school to school. In rare cases a student nominated by the Reves Center will not be selected by the school abroad to attend their university; the Reves Center would then explore further options for the student. 2. Any start and end dates listed are to serve as a guide for general planning, but specific dates are subject to change and may not include mandatory orientation programs or exams. Contact your host university for the most accurate dates.
