Cardiff University is one of the most popular
universities in the United Kingdom with over 27,000 students, including
approximately 3,000 international students from over 100 countries. The
School of European Studies is one of the largest and most dynamic of its
type in the UK. W&M students who study at Cardiff are able to
select courses from the full School of European Studies curriculum and
may be approved to take one course outside of the School as well. Please
note, 20 CU credits are equal to 5 W&M credits.
The city of Cardiff is the capital of Wales and is located 145 miles west of London. Wales boasts over 750 miles of coastline and more than 600 castles, and is home to three of the UK’s National Parks: Snowdonia, Pembrokeshire Coast and Brecon Beacons. Cardiff is only a two-hour train journey to London and also has an international airport with more than 30 flights a day to many cities within Europe. While at Cardiff University, W&M students will live on campus in single rooms with shared kitchens and bathrooms.
Assisted enrollment requires W&M students to pay tuition to Cardiff University. Out-of-state students often find assisted enrollment the best option. All W&M students pay housing, meals and fees on site in Cardiff.
The Reves Center advisor for Cardiff University programs is Theresa Johansson.
