Contemporary British Studies in London
If you're excited about the prospect of studying in London and would enjoy taking courses in British history and culture, then our popular Contemporary British Studies program may be the perfect summer option for you.Thought-provoking courses, which have been specially planned and organized by Arcadia University, are available in British art, theater, literature, and politics. You'll have the distinct advantage of studying in the city that is Britain's cultural and historical center and will regularly visit sites of historical and cultural importance. You can choose to take one or two classes. All classes will be held on the campus of City University, close to London's famous West End and right in the middle of a popular and upbeat London neighborhood brimming with cinemas, clubs, art venues, shops, and caf�s.
Beyond the classroom, you'll be perfectly situated to take full advantage of all that London has to offer. You'll be able to visit famous attractions like Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, the British Museum, and the Houses of Parliament, as well as discover the many fascinating qualities that characterize London's variety of village-like neighborhoods-from Notting Hill in west London and Hampstead in north London, to Greenwich and Wimbledon in south London.Arcadia Advantage

Once you arrive, our resident director will lead an orientation program in London that will introduce you to the culture, history and politics of England as well as prepare you for the academic challenges of studying in a different educational system.
