Study at the University of Wollongong


wollongongarielA campus nestled at the base of Mt Keira in a beautiful lush-green setting is one of the qualities of the University of Wollongong that attracts so many students. Combine that with challenging academics, a strong focus on student services, and an easy commuter train journey into Sydney, and you start to see why the University of Wollongong is such a popular study abroad destination. Courses in engineering, telecommunications, and robotics combine with courses in Australian history creative writing, and contemporary indigenous issues to offer a wide array of options at this university of 13,500 students. Of course, you're not limited to these subjects. Many students at Wollongong choose courses in psychology, business, or media studies.

The Arcadia Advantage

An Arcadia program isn't just about enrolling you in an overseas institution however. It's about all of the services we provide. Before you go, you can contact our program manager for advice on the application process, choosing courses, or simply what you should pack. Once you arrive, our Australia staff will lead an orientation program that will introduce you to the culture, history and politics of Australia as well as preparing you for the academic challenges of studying in a different educational system. During the semester, Arcadia's staff will plan excursions and activities designed to expand your understanding of Australian culture and help you integrate into university life.
