Study at the University of Sydney

Arcadia UOS The experience of studying at the University of Sydney can best be characterized by its buildings and campuses. Ivy-covered sandstone buildings that reflect Australia's colonial heritage combined with modern architecture that reflects the countries high tech and multicultural future all located on the fringe of Sydney's Central Business District paint a picture of a vibrant and historic institution.

The courses available represent this same mix of traditional and modern. Cutting edge research in the natural sciences, classics, history, and Australian Studies are just a few of the options available to you. A Conservatorium of Music and School of Art add to the comprehensive nature of the institution which enrolls more than 40,000 students.

The Arcadia Advantage

An Arcadia program isn't just about enrolling you in an overseas institution however. It's about all of the services we provide. Before you go, you can contact our program manager for advice on the application process, choosing courses, or simply what you should pack. Once you arrive, our Australia staff will lead an orientation program that will introduce you to the culture, history and politics of Australia as well as preparing you for the academic challenges of studying in a different educational system. During the semester, Arcadia's staff will plan excursions and activities designed to expand your understanding of Australian culture and help you integrate into university life.
