Sydney Semester Internship

Picture yourself working in Sydney, one of the world's most exciting cities. You can earn academic credit, enhance your professional knowledge, and improve practical skills through a placement in one of Sydney's leading public institutions or commercial enterprises.

Our program combines coursework with a four-day a week unpaid internship and an 8-day trip to The Kimberley in Northwest Australia. Your courses will be with other program participants, providing a learning community framework and an American perspective on your experience

Before you go, you can contact our program manager for advice on the application.  Our Australia staff will lead an orientation program that will introduce you to the culture, history and politics of Australia as well as preparing you for the academic challenges of studying in a different educational system. During the semester, Arcadia's staff will plan excursions and activities designed to expand your understanding of Australian culture and help you to reflect on the learning that is taking place outside the classroom. process, choosing courses, or simply what you should pack.
