Known for its hospitality, the western tip of Europe is the perfect place to launch your study abroad journey! If you are looking for a city full of authenticity where ancient history and old customs intermix with cultural entertainment and hi-tech innovation, Lisbon is the right place to go. The temperate weather, great cuisine, and welcoming atmosphere make it the perfect icing on the cake.

At CIEE Lisbon, students from all areas of study will learn about the cultural and political trends of the last century in Portugal through classes in English and field trips to Lisbon’s different neighborhoods, museums, and organizations. Courses are complemented with co-curricular activities and excursions beyond the city to enhance classroom learning and provide intercultural understanding.

In your leisure time, you’ll have every opportunity to make the most of your adventure in this cosmopolitan city. Enjoy Lisbon’s ocean vibe, stunning architecture, delicious typical restaurants, and narrow streets full of stories to tell.
