Program Overview

Spend your summer living and learning in Scotland’s largest city and cultural epicenter, Glasgow! Designed for students from all academic backgrounds, the Summer in Glasgow program is the perfect chance to earn credits toward your degree while immersing yourself in Scottish culture.

Throughout the program, you’ll have the choice of rounding out your academics with optional credit-bearing internships, volunteering, or independent research opportunities to participate actively in Glasgow’s local community. Outside the classroom, you'll have every opportunity to participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities and off-the-beaten-path trips organized by CIEE to appreciate Scotland’s impressive cultural attractions and landmarks. You won’t want to miss this exciting international summer adventure!

  • Go on a guided walking tour of Glasgow’s outstanding historic city center such as the merchant city neighborhood, where wealthy traders had their homes in the 18th century

Minority Serving Institutions (MIS) Grant - $2,000/semester and $500/summer, guaranteed to all students attending MSIs.
