Sydney is one of Southern Hemisphere’s main hubs for trade, finance, tech, and media production and a great place to dive into the intricacies of global business.  Students take classes at the Global Institute – Sydney, surrounded by the magnificent harbor that beckons visitors from around the world.

Excursions & Activities

Every CIEE program is complemented with co-curricular activities and excursions designed to enhance academic and intercultural learning. In Sydney students may:

  • Visit the Royal National Park to learn about aboriginal art 
  • Kayak with “mates” through Sydney Harbor before a traditional Australian BBQ
  • Hike the spectacular Blue Mountains with experienced and informed guides ready to share the environmental and cultural history of the spectacular landscape
  • Visit the Coolangatha Estate and learn about the first European settlement on New South Wales’ and its history as a former penal colony

NOTE: The deadline listed is for REGISTRATION with the Reves Center! The application itself will be due to the third-party provider or host university directly, based on THEIR deadlines (which may be before or after the W&M registration deadline). If you are planning to attend a Non-W&M Winter Program, these programs must start after the W&M scheduled fall exam period and end two days prior to the start of the spring semester.
