The University of Manchester is ranked among the world's top forty institutions. It is a cutting-edge leader in research, with 25 Nobel laureates among its current and former staff and students.   • Make friends through the Students’ Union, which sponsors over 200 social clubs and societies and is one of the largest in the U.K. The university also houses an art gallery, museum, and theater and you can join an excursion planned by the International Society.

Excursions & Attractions

Travel to fascinating places of interest that enhance your cultural immersion and give a meaningful context to your academic courses through Arcadia's planned Excursions and Activities.

Arcadia includes many fun and exciting excursions, events, and activities - many of which are free and included in your program. You also have a range of optional excursions and events to join such as the exciting Regional Excursion where we bring together students from our England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland programs as well as a continental Europe event every Fall and Spring semester. Contact your program manager for specific program excursions.

All Arcadia excursions are designed to be fun, interactive learning opportunities where you can visit places of exceptional interest in the country and enjoy experiences that help to illuminate your studies. You could also earn a Co-curricular Learning Certificate (CLC).
