Salzburg, Austria
Spend your January Term/winter break in the elegant, charming city of Salzburg Austria! 

Earn 3 credits awarded by Fairfield University, taking a music history course. The course will cover many composers but there will be a strong emphasis on Mozart with the opportunity to visit his birthplace and home.

Live in a student residence hall and receive a meal allowance to subsidize the cost of purchasing meals and groceries. 

This inclusive program includes:
  • housing in a student residence 
  • a meal allowance to subsidize the cost of your meals
  • cultural and social activities include walking tours, museum visits and musical events
  • a 3-day excursion to Vienna
  • optional AIFS Flight Package

You’ll have access to the AIFS study center where you can meet with the AIFS Resident Director for information and advice relating to the program, adapting to life in Salzburg and travel information or use the center’s library.

Salzburg is small enough to feel like a town, but large enough to offer all the amenities of a busy city and the perfect location to study music.
