SIT Study Abroad Indonesia: Biodiversity & Conservation in Bali & Borneo (Summer)

Examine biodiversity, conservation, resource-use patterns, and wildlife restoration on the islands of Bali and Borneo. Journey through villages, volcanic landscapes, plantations, forests, coral reefs, mangroves, and seagrass beds in one of the world’s most ecologically rich regions. Starting in Bali, explore grassroots conservation focused on habitat restoration, sustainability, and endangered species management. Learn from conservationists protecting parks in Java and Borneo, and observe primates, coral reefs, and endangered species such as the Bali myna and Bornean orangutan.
