If you're looking to experience the rich culture located within easy commutable distance to Dublin, the National University of Ireland, Maynooth (NUIM), may be the place for you.  NUI Maynooth is one of Ireland's leading and fastest-growing  institutions of higher education, tracing its Maynoothorigins to the founding of St. Patrick's College in 1795.

From its foundation, NUIM has had a tradition of international education and the University continues to provide outstanding support and opportunities for visiting students.  Today, NIUM's academic strengths span across its faculties with renowned programs in science and engineering while maintaining a tradition of excellence in the humanities.

NUI Maynooth has extensive course offerings in its three faculties: the Faculty of Art, Celtic Studies, and Philosophy; the Faculty of Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Science and Engineering, and can accommodate students from a wide range of majors.  Students may chose courses from among the NUIM offerings.  The course credit offered by each department may vary, so students can expect to enroll in as little as 5 or as many as 8 courses for a full course load, earning 15 semester hours of credit.

Arcadia Advantage
An Arcadia program isn't just about enrolling you in an overseas institution, however. It's about all of the services
that we provide.
We encourage you to contact your program manager for advice on the application process, choosing courses, or simply what you should pack. Once you arrive in Ireland, our staff will lead an orientation program  in Dublin that will introduce you to the culture, history and politics of Ireland as well as preparing you for the academic challenges of studying in a different educational system.
