Arcadia apply online buttonStudy at the Australian National University

arcadia student computerStudying in the middle of a capital city like Canberra is a special experience. The politics, international environment, and countless resources provide many opportunities to delve below the surface of the country's culture. The fact that Australian National University (ANU) is a short walk or bike-ride away from the center of the city only adds to your opportunities to explore.

Students interested in courses on international relations, economics, environmental science, and the fine arts will find particularly challenging and enlightening course offerings. A world-renowned faculty in Southeast Asian Studies teaches many courses in the languages and cultures of the region. Of course, with more than 10,000 students you'll find ANU to be a comprehensive university that offers flexibility in taking courses across the institution.

The Arcadia Advantage
An Arcadia program isn't just about enrolling you in an overseas institution, however. It's about all of the services we provide. Before you go, you can contact your program manager for advice on the application process, choosing courses, or simply what you should pack. Once you arrive, our Australia staff will lead an orientation program that will introduce you to the culture, history and politics of Australia as well as preparing you for the academic challenges of studying in a different educational system. During the semester, Arcadia's staff will plan excursions and activities designed to expand your understanding of Australian culture and help you integrate into university life.
